With over 25 years of expertise in the industry & specializing in sink installations, Surface Link can find the best sink for your home! There are so many options, from stainless steel to farmhouse style and do you prefer a drop-in or an undermount installation?

Here’s what you need to know:

DROP-IN SINKS:

A drop-in sink, also known as a top mount sink, has a visible rim. As opposed to an undermount sink, which has no visible rim. A drop in sink is installed by cutting an opening in the countertop and dropping the sink into that opening from above. Replacing your current sink with a top-mount sink is the least costly method of replacement. The most popular type of drop-in sink is a stainless-steel top mount sink! Most stainless-steel drop-in sinks have a low-profile rim that is sleek and attractive, unlike the stainless-steel top mount sinks of old.

UNDERMOUNT SINKS:

An alternative to a top mount sink is an undermount sink. Undermount sinks are attached to the underside of the countertop surface. There is no rim visible above the countertop with an undermount sink. Undermount sinks are more costly to install but offer a sleeker look.
